Every evening between 5 and 7 p.m., my two little ones would hit an emotional wall. To combat this, we started going on walks, which significantly helped them transition into bedtime.
Integrating a walk into our routine has allowed our family to connect deeper and has become essential for easing the kids into bedtime. I've noticed remarkable improvements in their mood.
As the temperatures drop and daylight shortens, I prioritize gearing my kids up for walks earlier. This ritual reinforces the message that we take care of our minds and bodies.
Regardless of the season, our evening walks make a huge difference for all of us. By the end of our neighborhood loop, we not only feel better but it also becomes a cherished part of my day.
