After spending two weeks in intensive treatment in the hospital for an unspecified medical emergency, Laverock was escorted out of a secure unit of the hospital and taken up to a balcony walkway from which she fell five stories.
She sustained life threatening injuries, has undergone multiple extensive surgeries and is currently on life support; we are all devastated, in shock.
Laverock played Rosaleen Sullivan for nine episodes in the show, which follows Elizabeth Thornton, a school teacher from a wealthy family who leaves for the big city.
