After being diagnosed with muscle tension dysphonia, she undertook various treatments, but despite her efforts, her voice did not return, leading her to withdraw from social situations.
Williams-Paisley highlighted the emotional toll of her health crisis, saying, "I couldn’t be a part of the conversation," reflecting her struggle with isolation and feeling disconnected.
