Kellie Harrington says this win is for her as she finds contentment in Paris after 'three years of madness'
Briefly

The last one was for everybody else. We were going through a pandemic, and everybody needed something to give them a lift and to get people to smile about something... When you reach a mountain, find a bigger mountain and that's what I've done and it wasn't easy to go climb that mountain... It's been three years of madness... I'm just so happy and I'm so proud of myself and to be here. Just to be doing what I'm doing.
A sterile, empty, eerily quiet Kokugikan Arena was the backdrop of her win three years ago. Last night, it was raucous, pulsating, colourful Court Philippe Chatrier. Roland Garros has never witnessed such scenes before... I never expected anything like that. I am never, ever going to forget this.
