John Wormell obituary
Briefly

My father, John Wormell, who has died aged 97, was a painter and senior lecturer at Hornsey College of Art. He shunned the limelight, focused on his artwork, and retired early to pursue his own highly individualistic paintings inspired by landscapes from his youth.

However, upon retiring to Scotland, his inspiration reignited, leading to a remarkable late-career artistic output.
