Incredibly rare proof of first Harry Potter novel, lost for years, goes on sale in Dallas

An uncorrected proof of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, one of only 200 ever made, featuring notable misprints, is up for auction at Heritage Auctions' event in Dallas on July 25.
The proof, originally purchased for $1.27 by St. Kenelm's School in 1997, was discovered after years in storage and is now being sold by Oxfordshire business owner Dale Henry for the benefit of the local community.
