I was always obsessed with death': how Linder turned pornography and trauma into art
Briefly

The 1977 release of Buzzcocks' single 'Orgasm Addict' featured a groundbreaking and provocative album cover by Linder Sterling, depicting a surreal naked woman with an iron head. This striking collage, which was widely displayed due to a significant publicity effort, left a lasting impact on viewers, forming personal memories of its shock and awe across various cities. At 70, Linder reflects on her art and its influences, noting the undercurrents of vulnerability in pornography and the joy of presenting her work in a retrospective exhibition, 'Danger Came Smiling.'
