"Forgotten" poem by C.S. Lewis published for the first time
Briefly

A literary scholar discovered a previously unknown short poem by C.S. Lewis in documents acquired by the University of Leeds ten years ago, published for the first time.
The poem, written in 1935, is analyzed in the Journal of Inkling Studies, dedicated to the Oxford Inklings, including Lewis, Tolkien, and Williams.
Lewis and Tolkien shared a love of Norse mythology, with Lewis influencing Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, and Tolkien in turn influencing Lewis's conversion to Christianity.
Apart from his popular works, Lewis was a medieval scholar with expertise in the late Middle Ages and a fan of Beowulf, reflecting in his fiction.
