Celine Dion gave a powerhouse performance at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, singing from the first stage of the Eiffel Tower. It was her first major live performance since disclosing her stiff person syndrome in 2022.
Lady Gaga also performed at the ceremony, paying tribute to French singer Zizi Jeanmaire. Gaga and Dion's duet ended speculations as they were photographed around Paris ahead of the event.
