It has some raving reviews from pleased passengers - 129 mention staff being 'friendly,' 106 describe them as 'helpful' while 42 say they are 'efficient'."

In the summer of 2024, the hub saw 160,000 passengers pass through and many seemed to be pleased with the welcoming service. Meanwhile, Narita International Airport in Japan came third with 73.1 per cent positive reviews. The airport boasts a range of restaurants, beauty salons and lounges making it an appealing place to stop by when travelling."

Research analysed over 71,000 Google reviews across the 120 busiest airports to identify mentions of 'friendly', 'helpful' and 'polite' staff. Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport topped the list with 73.6% of ratings praising its staff and service, and direct flights to 101 destinations. Cornwall Airport Newquay placed second with 73.3% positive mentions and served 160,000 passengers in summer 2024. Narita International Airport ranked third with 73.1% positive reviews and notable passenger amenities. Southampton and Phoenix Sky Harbor ranked fourth and fifth. Several UK airports appear in the top 20, and North American hubs form nearly half of that group.
