"THE ISRAELIS HAVE ATTACKED THE FLOTILLA MAIN BOAT IN TUNISIAN TERRITORY! This is an attack against Gaza because they don't want us there. So we need you to mobilise. Let's not stay quiet."
A Portuguese-flagged boat of a Gaza-bound flotilla was reportedly struck by a suspected drone near the old port city of Carthage, Tunisia, around midnight. Sailor Yasemin Acar said a drone released a bomb that exploded and set the 'Family Boat' on fire, but that all on board were safe and the fire was extinguished. Organisers Global Sumud Flotilla confirmed the suspected drone strike, said passengers and crew were safe, and announced an investigation. Participants and public figures described the incident as an attack against Gaza and called for mobilisation; organisers vowed the mission would continue.
