Students among 17 dead in RSF drone attack in Sudan's White Nile State

The attack targeted a secondary school and health center, killing female students, teachers, and health workers. The Sudanese Doctors Network characterized this as part of a broader pattern of RSF violations, noting that over two days multiple civilian sites were targeted including a student dormitory, power station, and residential areas. After being pushed from Khartoum in March 2025 by the Sudanese Armed Forces, the RSF shifted operations to Kordofan and el-Fasher. The ICC has opened investigations into alleged war crimes by both parties, with UN reports suggesting RSF atrocities in el-Fasher display genocide characteristics.
