As Russia's war in Ukraine continues, Lavrov mentioned that Moscow and Beijing had decided to initiate dialogue with other like-minded nations on the matter.
China's top diplomat Wang highlighted the importance of opposing hegemonism and power politics, emphasizing fairness and justice while deepening economic ties with Moscow amidst efforts to isolate Russia.
The United States considers China its biggest rival and Russia its largest threat. Russia and China aim to counter growing US influence, NATO expansion, and unilateral sanctions.
