The United States coordinated a trilateral meeting with Ukraine and Russia on January 23-24 hosted by the United Arab Emirates. The talks were described as constructive and plans were made to continue conversations in Abu Dhabi. Officials indicated the meetings are expected to resume on February 1. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was briefed and characterized the negotiations as constructive. Military personnel involved in the talks compiled a list of topics for a possible follow-up meeting.
