Mr. Xi warned Mr. Biden in California to stop arming Taiwan and not to interfere in the election in favor of the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) that China dislikes.
Mr. Biden said he told Mr. Xi that he "didn't expect any interference, any at all," in Taiwan's campaign.
