Nothing definitive' reached about Iran during Netanyahu's visit with Trump
"It was a very good meeting, the tremendous relationship between our two Countries continues, Trump said of Israel."
"There was nothing definitive reached other than I insisted that negotiations with Iran continue to see whether or not a Deal can be consummated."
"If it can, I let the Prime Minister know that will be a preference, Trump said. If it cannot, we will just have to see what the outcome will be."
United States President Donald Trump concluded a White House meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with no definitive agreements reached. Trump said he insisted that negotiations with Iran continue to determine whether a deal can be consummated. Trump pressed Tehran to concede to a list of demands and expressed hope that a deal could be struck. The visit was Netanyahu's sixth to the White House since the start of Trump's second term and their seventh meeting since January 2025. The meeting took place days after indirect US–Iran talks in Oman meant to avert wider regional conflict. Trump referenced previous US strikes on Iranian nuclear sites during last June's 12-day war and signaled possible further military action if diplomacy fails.
