Global advertising challenge launched to counter rising ant | The Jerusalem Post
"People are talking about antisemitism again, and that matters. The question now is whether that attention will translate into meaningful, fact-based responses that confront hate wherever it appears."
"'More than 1,500 antisemitic incidents in the first half of 2025 - almost certainly an undercount, as many people no longer report,' says the writer."
The Combat Antisemitism Movement launched a global creative advertising challenge calling on creatives worldwide to produce data-driven campaigns confronting Jewish hate across media platforms. The initiative arrives amid rising global antisemitism, with more than 1,500 reported incidents in the first half of 2025 and evidence of escalating harassment on university campuses, attacks on synagogues, and efforts to delegitimize Jewish and Zionist identity. FBI data show Jews comprise roughly 2% of the U.S. population yet are targets of over 60% of religiously motivated hate crimes. The challenge aims to shift public response from reaction to meaningful, fact-based action.
