Family of Wexford mother killed in hit and run abroad set up fundraiser to 'seek justice'

Legal fees should be the last thing any family has to worry about, but unfortunately we must pursue a legal case in the hope of securing some justice for Claire, Ronan and the boys. Claire Cullen from Gorey died after being struck by a car while attending her brother's wedding in the Dominican Republic in November. She was a young mother of three known for kindness, a bright personality, and deep love for her family. Claire worked as a successful hairdresser and was admired for loyalty, creativity, a strong work ethic, and her mischievous laugh. Family members have launched a fundraiser to cover legal fees to pursue action in the Dominican Republic after the driver fled the scene. The fundraiser, set up by sister-in-law Helen Cullen, has nearly €25,000 of a €30,000 target.
