Musk thanked Epstein and Nikolic after an October 2012 lunch and described the relationship as dating. The woman forwarded Musk’s personal messages to Epstein and sought his guidance while the relationship continued. There is no evidence in the released emails that Musk knew about the woman’s backchannel correspondence with Epstein. The woman’s lawyer says she was trapped and abused by Epstein; her full name appears due to a redaction error.
