Elena Rybakina defeated Jessica Pegula 6-3, 7-6 (7) to reach the Australian Open final. Rybakina missed three match points on Pegula's serve and was broken twice while serving for the match. Pegula had two set points in the tiebreak but failed to convert, and Rybakina clinched the win 29 minutes after her first match point. Rybakina experienced flashbacks from the 2024 Australian Open when she lost a 22-20 tiebreak to Anna Blinkova. Rybakina expressed pride in staying composed and fighting for each point. Rybakina will face top-ranked Aryna Sabalenka, who defeated Elina Svitolina 6-2, 6-3 and seeks a third Australian Open title.
