Ahmed al Ahmed, a Sydney tobacco shop owner, leapt onto one of the gunmen during a terror attack at Bondi Beach and wrested a firearm from the assailant. He said his only concern was saving those around him and that he acted to stop the gunman from killing innocent people. Dash cam footage captured him jumping from behind a parked car onto the attacker’s back and wrenching the gun away. He sustained injuries during the struggle and was treated in hospital.
