In Taiwan, women make up 41.6% of parliament due to reserved seats and candidate quotas, while Indonesia saw an increase from 10% to 20% female lawmakers with a 30% gender quota.
While India passed a bill setting aside 33% of seats for women, the quota was not implemented in the most recent election, resulting in only 14% female lawmakers being elected.
