Wolves have signed Fluminense forward Jhon Arias for an initial fee of £15m. He has agreed to a four-year contract with the club, including an option for an additional year. Arias has a history of professional play with Patriotas, America de Cali, and Santa Fe in Colombia before moving to Fluminense in 2021. He has made 253 appearances for Fluminense, scoring 48 goals and providing 57 assists. He played a significant role in winning the Copa Libertadores, Recopa Sudamericana, and Campeonato Carioca during his time at Fluminense.
Wolves have completed the signing of Fluminense forward Jhon Arias for an initial fee of £15m. Arias has put pen to paper on a four-year deal.
The 27-year-old made over 100 appearances in his native Colombia before joining Fluminense in 2021 and played 253 times for the Brazilian side.
Arias' four-year stint with Fluminense included helping the club lift their first Copa Libertadores in 2023, winning the Recopa Sudamericana and Campeonato Carioca twice.
Arias' performances at the recent Club World Cup significantly contributed to his appeal and subsequent signing by Wolves.
