Wimbledon: Another seed leaves when Keys is surprised by Siegemund. No. 1 Sabalenka beats Raducanu
Briefly

Reigning Australian Open champion Madison Keys lost 6-3, 6-3 to Laura Siegemund, the 104th-ranked player, at Wimbledon. Keys' exit leaves just one of the top six women, Aryna Sabalenka, in the competition. The men’s field has also faced surprises with 13 seeds eliminated in the first round. Siegemund noted the importance of nerves in the match and made 31 unforced errors compared to Siegemund’s fewer mistakes. Siegemund celebrated her victory joyfully after a decisive match.
"At times, it wasn't the best quality, let's say. But I managed, and in the end, it's just important to find solutions and I did that well. Kept my nerves in the end," Siegemund said.
"You can't not be happy when you beat a great player like Madison Keys. It's a big win for me and something I'll remember forever," Siegemund added.
