Women make up a higher percentage of new entrants to the cyber security profession, but challenges around discrimination and equal pay persist.
Despite progress, the representation of women in security teams stands at 23%, expected to reach 35% in the next seven years, with drops in proportion after age 45.
Women in cyber are ambitious, better educated, and hold executive titles at a similar rate to men, with higher involvement in hiring decisions.
