And a recently launched AI-powered tool by Albertsons (No. 30) can carry a conversation with consumers and suggest grocery items to consider buying while shopping online, which has proven to lift the total basket size."

"Make healthcare easier, more affordable, and more personal," says Boudreaux. Some generative AI use cases that Elevance Health has deployed include tools that make it easier for customer service representatives to retrieve the information they need to answer client questions."
Nine companies on the Fortune AIQ 50 are led by women, spanning aerospace and defense, banking, retail, mining, insurance, and financial analytics. These firms represent 18% of the AIQ list versus 11% of Fortune 500 companies led by women in 2025. Deployed AI use cases include Citigroup training 175,000 employees to write better prompts for large language models, Progressive using AI to screen hundreds of thousands of job applications, and Albertsons' AI tool conversing with shoppers and suggesting items to lift basket size. Other women-led firms include S&P Global, General Dynamics, Northrop Grumman, Freeport-McMoRan, Centene, and Elevance Health. Elevance Health uses AI to help customer service staff retrieve information and to automate call transcription summaries.
