Millions of women say their menstrual cycle dictates what they wear
Briefly

A newly developed calculator helps women track their menstrual cycles to maximize their well-being and productivity. Based on a study involving 5,000 UK women, results indicated a significant majority organize various aspects of their lives around their cycles, including exercise, socializing, and eating habits. Notably, many identified specific days of discomfort associated with their period, with 91% reporting ovulation pain. The findings highlight the varied experiences of menstruation and the need for personal acknowledgment of one's unique cycle.
A spokeswoman for monthlies emphasized, "While this research gives us an average picture of what the monthly cycle can look like, we know every single woman has their own unique set of experiences when it comes to having periods."
The study revealed that 54% of women who experience period pain can identify the exact days it will occur, yet only 7% feel balanced throughout their cycle.
