During Women's History Month, we pay homage to the great women of this country who helped to make it what it is today - and rightfully so.
I think about all the unknown women who helped build this country by touching one life at a time.
One of them (yours truly) became the first Black female reporter at The Miami Herald.
The memory of Carr, and Shannon and Lewis stand out, like it's etched on the breastplate of my heart and mind.
