Daisy Rosas Vargas left her position as a Latina professor due to lack of support and poor mental health. She prioritized her wellbeing and took a job with Latinas in STEM, a non-profit supporting underserved communities. In this role, she leads fundraising, profiles Latina scientists, and coordinates support for children affected by wildfires. Additionally, she engages the public through her YouTube series, Chemists in the Kitchen, and developed the Real Chem course for college students, emphasizing chemistry's relevance in daily life.
