Eckington Floral Shop, She Loves Me, Gets New Ownership - Washingtonian
"I'm excited to kind of . . . catch the bouquet, if you will. The future of She Loves Me is bright-with bold unexpected color combos, extravagant asymmetrical floral designs, and art-like seasonal blooms. While only local ground delivery is currently available, Williams plans to offer national delivery options in the next 18 months."
"I definitely want the culture of the team here to stay the same, because I think it's a really fun place to work. Williams says, giving much of the credit to the creative team and her predecessor, Simmons."
"Now is the right time for me to pass the bouquet on to Victoria. After collaborating with [Williams] as an extension of our team, I am wholehearted in this transition and excited for what She Loves Me will become under her leadership."
Victoria Williams has assumed ownership of She Loves Me, a woman-owned avant-garde floral design studio, replacing founder Holley Simmons. Williams, whose background includes law, campaign work, and management consulting, discovered the studio after hiring it for her birthday party. She joined as an events assistant in July and worked closely with the creative team before becoming official owner on January 8. Williams plans to expand the business significantly, introducing national delivery within 18 months and opening new studios and pop-ups across the country over five years. She remains committed to preserving the studio's established community culture and team dynamics while pursuing brand activations and growth opportunities.
