Private Wine Clubs Are Atlanta's Newest Luxury Flex
Briefly

Atlanta is experiencing a significant surge in interest for wine clubs, resembling private golf or country clubs. These exclusive establishments are characterized by hefty annual fees, extensive wine libraries, storage facilities, and gourmet food options, with some clubs already seeing waitlists. Notable openings include the Perlant by golfer Christian Ries, boasting impressive membership growth, and the Vine Club by Taylor Sublett. The trend highlights a growing community of young professionals in Atlanta blending their love of wine and lifestyle, spearheaded by passionate founders excited about creating unique gathering spaces.
The Perlant boasts a wine library of over 650 bottles and 40 wines by the glass, assembled by wine director and co-founder Elizabeth Dames.
Professional golfer Christian Ries opened the Perlant in Buckhead this January and already has 350 memberships, heading into a waitlist.
