Blackmagic Design releases a DaVinci Resolve editing panel for iPads
Briefly

At 14.33 inches by 7.18 inches, the Micro Color Panel is about the size of a computer keyboard, with an iPad Pro mounting slot and connectivity options via Bluetooth or USB-C.
The Micro Color Panel, at $495, is notably cheaper than the next model up, the Mini Panel, priced over $2,000, yet offers three weighted trackballs and 12 control knobs for professional editing.
Blackmagic kept many controls, like wipe still, cursor, and select, which are usually found on larger panels, in the same positions on the new Micro Color Panel to maintain familiarity for editors.
Blackmagic aims for usability with localized versions of the Micro Color Panel in multiple languages, ensuring users don’t need to learn a new language to operate the device, according to CEO Grant Petty.
