The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra smooths out some sharp edges
Briefly

The Galaxy S25 Ultra, recently announced, signifies a structural design change with rounded corners and flat edges, departing from its Note roots. Priced similarly to last year's model at $1,299, the phone features Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and boasts a larger 6.9-inch screen with slimmer bezels. Key upgrades include a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera and promises of seven years of OS updates. However, the S Pen has lost Bluetooth functionality, and Bixby is no longer the default assistant, marking a shift toward Google Gemini and AI-driven enhancements in One UI 7.0.
Bixby is no longer the default virtual assistant. It's still present and you can summon it through its own app. But Google Gemini will answer when you long-press the wake button.
The S Pen...no longer supports Bluetooth, so the air gesture controls that previous versions offered are gone. The S25 Ultra's included S Pen is just a basic stylus.
