Google is rolling out an intelligent, AI-powered Search box globally that anticipates intent and helps users formulate questions. The search input can include images, video files, and entire Chrome tabs, while AI Mode powered by Gemini 3.5 Flash supports follow-up questions and corrections. Gemini Spark is introduced as a cloud-based assistant that can monitor credit card statements for hidden subscriptions, track updates from school emails, and compile notes into Google Docs. It can interact with third-party apps to complete tasks, with promises to request confirmation before final purchases or sending emails. Google also previews Android XR smart glasses with Gemini chat, real-time audio translation, on-view text translation, and photo capture. Subscription tiers are updated, including a new $100-per-month mid-range option and higher limits for Ultra plans.
