Now that Google has moved up its annual October Pixel event to August, the tech industry is buzzing with the announcements made at the Made By Google keynote event in Mountain View, California.
The Pixel 9 launch introduced expected hardware upgrades such as the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and the ultra-thin Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Additional highlights include the Pixel Watch 3, Pixel Buds Pro 2, and software features with Android 15.0 and Gemini integrations.
The Pixel 9 boasts a redesigned look with an oblong oval camera bump, larger 6.3-inch screen, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and polished glass back with metal finishes. Camera upgrades include a 48 MP ultrawide lens, AI photography enhancements, and improved selfie capabilities.
