Samsung has unveiled new features for its Wallet app alongside the Galaxy S25 lineup. The 'Instant Installment' feature provides a buy now, pay later option without becoming a credit provider, allowing users to manage offline payment plans directly. 'Tap to Transfer' enables peer-to-peer payments similar to Apple's option, but with the flexibility to work with third-party digital wallets linked to debit accounts. These features will be available shortly after the Galaxy S25 launch and will also be compatible with older Samsung devices.
Samsung's Instant Installment and Tap to Transfer features aim to enhance Samsung Wallet's functionality, making it competitive with Apple's payment options while remaining device-agnostic.
Samsung Wallet is introducing Instant Installment, an innovative approach to buy now pay later that simplifies payment management at physical and online retailers.
