Google has introduced a new 45 watt charger in support of its Pixel 9 phones but charging speeds remain largely unchanged across the models.
While the new Pixel 9 Pro XL boasts a charging speed of 37W, the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro maintain their previous 27W rate.
The new 45W charger, while capable of supporting faster charging for future devices, offers only modest improvements for the current Pixel 9 lineup.
At $30, Google's new charger is competitively priced compared to third-party options, although brands like Anker offer similar capabilities at a lower cost.
