According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the rumored Apple Watch SE with a plastic shell is still in development despite not being announced at the latest event.
Gurman noted that the new plastic SE would feature bolder colors aimed at children, capturing a market that Apple has not fully tapped into yet.
Despite the anticipation, Apple experienced a manufacturing snag with the plastic design, which has delayed the release of this more budget-friendly version of the watch.
The highlight of the recent Apple event was the introduction of the Series 10, described by Engadget's Billy Steele as having a 'massive upgrade' with a brighter, wider OLED display.
