Wizards and sharpshooter Corey Kispert agree on a contract extension
Briefly

Kispert is someone who positively impacts our environment daily. He consistently shows up for the organization as both a player and a teammate, embodying the passion and professionalism we value.
Kispert, the No. 15 pick in 2021, came into the league as a strong shooter and has maintained that reputation, shooting 38.3 percent from three-point range last year on a robust six attempts per game.
His extension gives the Wizards another reliable complementary offensive piece that can help young talents such as Sarr, Coulibaly and 2024 draft picks Bub Carrington and Kyshawn George develop.
Kispert has become a more well-rounded offensive threat, hitting career highs last season in the percentage of his field goal attempts that were two-point shots and his assist percentage.
