The Magic: The Gathering and Final Fantasy crossover collection has seen high demand, leading to limited stock at major retailers since preorders began in February. As of now, Walmart has restocked key products, including the Final Fantasy Starter Kit and Final Fantasy Bundle. The collection encompasses all 16 mainline Final Fantasy games and features various decks and booster packs, with certain items currently sold out. Additional future crossovers, such as with Spider-Man, also announced, suggest a growing trend of popular franchises collaborating.
If you are interested in picking up some Final Fantasy-themed Magic cards ahead of the collection's June 13 release, you have another chance to preorder.
Preorders for the Final Fantasy Starter Kit, which includes two pre-made MTG playing decks, are back in stock for retail price (only $20).
Most of the items in the collection are currently sold out at Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy, though Walmart has restocked some items.
Magic: The Gathering is also crossing over with Spider-Man this September, with preorders available for various products.
