Crosby, an EMU alum, expressed deep gratitude for the opportunity, emphasizing the importance of the university in his development. He will oversee player evaluations and fundraising efforts as part of his new position. Additionally, he has initiated the 'Maxx Match' fundraising challenge, committing to match donations up to $100,000 for the program, reflecting his dedication to supporting student-athlete opportunities.
Crosby will help Eastern Michigan evaluate high school and portal prospects, manage its NIL budget and serve as special assistant to alumni relations.
Crosby stated, 'There is no place more important to my personal and athletic development than Eastern Michigan University.'
He set the program record with 20 career sacks at Eastern Michigan and has recorded 59.5 sacks in six seasons with the Raiders.
Crosby launched the 'Maxx Match,' a fundraising challenge to personally match donations to the EMU football program, up to $100,000.
