Dan Snyder's mansion in Potomac, previously listed for sale, has faced challenges in finding a buyer, remaining on the market despite a donation to the American Cancer Society and a significant price drop. The property includes five bedrooms and is set on 13.5 acres. Listing agent Cara Pearlman notes that ultra-luxury properties tend to have slower sales cycles due to their scale and maintenance costs. However, she is optimistic about increasing interest as the spring market approaches.
"I don't think anyone on our end anticipated that it would be a quick sale," says Cara Pearlman, the property's Compass listing agent.
Pearlman explains that in the ultra-luxury market, properties tend to move slower due to the scale and costs involved.
Yet, there has been an uptick in interest according to Pearlman, especially as the market revives during the spring season.
"When President Trump's billionaire-laden cabinet first descended on the DC area, multimillion-dollar homes saw a major upswing in activity—the 'Trump Effect.'"
