Dan Quinn emphasized the importance of new veteran players integrating with the existing team during practice. Key additions included Eddie Goldman, Von Miller, Deebo Samuel, Laremy Tunsil, and Deatrich Wise Jr. Miller expressed enthusiasm about being able to rush the passer while mentioning his perspective shift after being out of work for four months. He noted that he still feels capable of performing at a high level despite his age and past experiences. Last season, Miller contributed significantly as a pass rush specialist on the Buffalo Bills' defense.

Being out of work four months, perspective kind of changes a little bit. When you're sitting on the couch for four months, 'Man, I wish I was at OTAs.'
Last season, Miller played about a third of Buffalo's defensive snaps as a pass rush specialist, recording six sacks during the season.
