TJ Oshie has moved back to Minnesota after spending nearly ten years in Washington, D.C. His wife, Lauren, expressed the emotional difficulty of leaving the city that has been home for significant life events. The Oshie family, who have three of their four children born during their time with the Capitals, listed their McLean, VA house for nearly $10 million. Oshie retired in June after a chronic back injury and had a successful NHL career, while his former teammate, Nicklas Backstrom, also left the area to return to Sweden. Oshie has not disclosed future plans but has returned to Minnesota, where he built a new home.
