
A 700-kilogram albino buffalo with hair resembling Donald Trump’s signature coiffure was moved to Mirpur National Zoo in Dhaka after being scheduled for an Eid sacrifice. Government officials intervened to spare the animal due to security concerns and unusually high public interest. Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed ordered the buffalo be saved and required a local buyer to be refunded after the decision to relocate the buffalo to the national zoo. The buffalo was raised on a farm near Dhaka and drew steady crowds after arriving at the zoo.
