"The Washington Capitals don't yet know if they'll have four lineup regulars ready to go against the Seattle Kraken on Tuesday night. Tom Wilson, Rasmus Sandin, Matt Roy, and Declan Chisholm all missed practice at Climate Pledge Arena on Monday, and head coach Spencer Carbery didn't have much of an update on them after the team's morning skate. All four are expected to be game-time decisions."
"Wilson and Roy both played in the team's last game against the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday night, with Wilson skating 19:31 of ice time and Roy seeing 21:27. Roy, 30, is one of just six Capitals players to feature in all 53 games this season, while Wilson is just three games removed from missing eight games with a lower-body injury."
"Sandin may be the biggest concern among the four, as the 25-year-old rearguard was unable to finish the 6-5 overtime loss to the Oilers. He played just 5:07 of ice time before suffering a lower-body injury with just 19 seconds remaining in the first frame. Chisholm was a healthy scratch in Edmonton and has not played since he took the ice for the Capitals against the Colorado Avalanche on January 19."
Four regulars — Tom Wilson, Rasmus Sandin, Matt Roy, and Declan Chisholm — missed practice and are listed as game-time decisions for the Capitals' road game against the Seattle Kraken. Wilson and Roy both played Saturday against the Edmonton Oilers, with Wilson logging 19:31 and Roy 21:27, and Roy remains one of six Capitals to appear in all 53 games. Sandin left the Oilers game early with a lower-body injury after 5:07 of ice time. Chisholm was a healthy scratch on the trip and last played January 19. Without multiple blueliners, the team could lack a full six-man defense corps.
