Spencer Carbery to tweak Capitals' top six against Florida Panthers, Logan Thompson to start in net
Briefly

The Washington Capitals are set to adjust their forward lines ahead of a Saturday matchup against the Florida Panthers, aiming to build on a current three-game winning streak. Coach Spencer Carbery indicated that changes would be made primarily within the top six players, following a lackluster performance despite a recent win against the Philadelphia Flyers. The team's third and fourth lines have been performing well, contributing significantly to the team's success. As they aim for continued improvement, the Capitals hope these adjustments will enhance their offensive output.
I honestly didn't think we were very good from start to finish. We were okay. We get the early lead, and there were some good moments in the first two periods, and then the third obviously came right off the rails.
The bottom six have been driving our team a little bit from game to game in certain situations, which has been really helpful in a lot of those games.
