Hendrix Lapierre, a 23-year-old center for the Hershey Bears, was named the AHL Player of the Week after a strong performance in which he scored five points over two games. After enduring a 38-game goalless streak, Lapierre scored a goal and an assist in one game and followed that with an overtime winner and two assists in another, leading the Bears to consecutive wins against divisional rivals, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. He is the first Hershey player to receive this honor since Connor McMichael in 2021.
