Hardy Häman Aktell has signed a three-year contract with SC Bern following a mutual termination of his contract with the Washington Capitals. After winning the Calder Cup with Hershey Bears, Häman Aktell is eligible to play for SC Bern as they approach the end of their regular season. General Manager Patrik Bärtschi has highlighted Häman Aktell as a perfect fit for their defensive needs. Previously, Häman Aktell played in the SHL and has a background of two championship wins before moving to North America.
