First up, fans got to take in a closed practice at Capital One Arena, where Coach Carbery and the rest of the coaching staff put the boys through their paces.
Each original STHer received a gift bag containing a jersey that was signed by the trio of players before joining the fans for pictures.
Many of the 36 ticketholders were in attendance with their friends and family, including me and my dad, who attended the team's first preseason game back in 1974.
All in all, a great event to kick off what should be a celebration-packed 50th season for the Caps!
